President's Message
President's Message
Dear colleagues,
We are excited about the ISODP 2025 Congress, to be held in Kyoto, Japan from December 3 to 6, 2025.
The website has been launched and the scientific program committee is well advanced in creating an engaging and informative program. Pre-congress workshops on December 3 will include the topics of tissue donation, advancing donation in Asia, deceased donation research ethics, and donation in Japan focusing on local practices. The main program is shaping up and will include leading international speakers, cutting edge practices, and advances in donation and transplantation.
Abstract information: Free paper and poster sessions will provide the opportunity for donation and transplantation professionals to share their work and experiences. Please note that abstracts previously submitted to, or presented at, other congresses in the past year (e.g. WTC 2025 or TTS 2024) can be resubmitted unless the manuscript has been published in a scientific journal. Abstracts submission for ISODP 2025 will open in March 2025 with information soon to be available, along with information on travel awards. Accepted abstracts that are presented at the ISODP 2025 Congress will be published in an online supplement of the Transplantation Journal.
Therefore, mark your calendars to attend the ISODP 2025 Congress in Kyoto, Japan from December 3 to 6, 2025. More information about registration and the venue will be available in coming months.
The location is fabulous and it is a great time of year to visit Japan with so much to see, enjoy, and experience.
We look forward to seeing you there.
